ACE Tech Charter High School was founded in 2004 to introduce inner-city youth to architecture, construction, and engineering (ACE) careers. This focus is critical, as such youth areseverely underrepresented within the ACE disciplines and are excluded from the benefits of ACE career participation. Even more critical is the fact that practicing ACE professionals are retiring in droves.
In short, ACE Tech's mission allows the school to serve both its student body AND the prospective needs of the ACE employment industries.
This focus has enabled ACE Tech to evolve into a school where the academic meets the practical. Students engage in curriculum which provides ample in-class and hands-on based instructional content within the ACE disciplines. This curriculum also addresses the obstacles which traditionally prevent our students from pursuing ACE careers.
